Bengal Tigers Cricket Club

The Open Day, held at Stumps Indoor Cricket Centre saw the launch of the Bengal Tigers Cricket Club (B.T.C.C.) by Bangladesh Community Development (BCD).


Bangladeshi Festival

This annual celebration includes music, dance, exhibitions, cuisine, a fashion show, sports and many other attractions which showcase the best of Bangladeshi arts and culture. It also puts on view a huge range of opportunities for young people across the city with stands featuring careers information, Universities and Colleges. Read More..

Supplementary School

This project provides the opportunity for out of school hours learning. Through this project BCD provide access to study centres where students can be given support with their studies particularly with core curriculum subjects, SAT s and G.C.S.E exams.

Outreach Project

outreach The Bangladeshi Community Education Outreach Project is primarily targeted at Bengali women and parents. It concentrates mainly on various employment related training courses, providing access to valuable training opportunities supported by BCD. The courses available include: ESOL, Bengali GCSEs, Food & Hygiene and Information Technology. Read More..


Sports Project

The BCD Sports Development Project is a Sport England facilitated project. Funded Through the Active communities Development Fund for Sport, a sport England initiative. This project has enabled a large number of people from within the BCD community to become & remain involved in sport.
